We take the security and privacy of your code seriously. Retack.AI interacts with your repositories in a secure and transparent manner, with data handling practices designed to protect your intellectual property.
How we use your repository
Retack.AI requires access to your repository’s default branch to generate AI-assisted fixes. When you provide your GitHub or GitLab access token and repository URL, we clone the code from the default branch onto our servers. This process is temporary and occurs solely for the purpose of analyzing and applying fixes to your codebase.
Data storage and retention
The files from your repository’s default branch are stored on our secure servers only during the issue-fixing period. Once the AI-assisted fix operation is complete (depending on the repository size), all files related to your repository are permanently deleted from our servers.
Secure data handling
We employ industry-standard security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your data during the issue-fixing process. Our servers are encrypted using secure protocols as well as regularly monitored, and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Access control and auditing
Your Git access token is used solely for the purpose of cloning and interacting with your repository. We encrypt and store these tokens to clone the repository for the purpose of applying fixes to your codebase. Furthermore, our systems are regularly audited to ensure compliance with our security and privacy policies.
Lifetime and Validity of Access Token
The Git access token you provide is valid until the expiration date you selected while creating it from the Git service (GitHub or GitLab). If the access token expires, you can update the access token by providing a valid access token. You can also revoke the access token at any time from your Git service account, effectively revoking Retack.AI access to your repository.
